Don't know if I'm a bit too late to the party, but if you're still taking requests, here's two I could think of (if not, just ignore this, lol). Fair warning, these might be hit-and-miss because I basically enjoy everything I watch and I'm not sure what genres/storylines you all prefer, but hopefully I'm not too far off from what you all enjoy, haha. White Collar -- There's 6 seasons and the show is completed. This show is primarily episodic, but has an overarching plot that advances a bit every episode. Has an interesting and entertaining main character, a couple lovable side ones, and some fascinating character dynamics. It's been a good while since I've watched this show, so I'm having trouble with specifics, but I do remember thoroughly enjoying it. Voltron: Legendary Defender -- There's 6 seasons, but the show is currently incomplete, with the 7th season coming out in August. This show teeters between being episodic and not, but as the show progresses, I feel like it more leans towards serialized. Starts off a bit slow for set up, but the later seasons are very much "hit the ground running" storytelling with a few comic-relief episodes dotted throughout that don't serve the plot all too much (if at all) but give good reprieve when it's needed. Has a fun ensemble of main characters with good character arcs, and though the comic-relief can be hit-and-miss depending on your sense of humor, it's generally well-placed after the first episode. Begins the entire series with an hour long episode, but continues the rest with regular cartoon length episodes. I watch this show with my sister and mother (who enjoys referencing the Voltron from her childhood) and it's always a fun time, so maybe you and your family will enjoy it, too?

Merlin, it ran from 2008 to 2012 with a total of 5 seasons, it is a fantasy show based on the Arthurian legend and the first two seasons are good and the last 2-3 seasons are excellent! I think you would like/love it if you like shows like Vikings and game of thrones

Legion is one of the best superhero TV shows in my opinion (thought-provoking, visually stunning), but The Flash (seasons 1 and 2) is pretty fun too. For anime, I'd highly recommend Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. And if you're ever dabbling in Korean dramas, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE watch Reply 1988: it is one of most critically acclaimed dramas in Korean TV history, and it's incredibly funny and emotional.

The Sopranos and Fargo are great shows I’ve watched recently.

I have a interesting one, Farscape, its a sci fi show that im rewatching at the moment and its the best and last thing that came out of australia so im kinda proud of it. One of the best and most different tv shows ever.
