Hey guys,

In the beginning of this tutorial, I talk about some changes in the schedule of our tutorials. The beginning of this year was harsh, and I think I just was so excited that tried to jump over my head with the tutorial that I SHOULD had been recorded 2 days ago. Its sad. But it seems like i'm just a human and not a tutorial-machine, and when i push it further and make something more complex - i need time to digest it myself, and only than i will be able to pass this knowledge.

Hey! Amazing tutorial. Just curious, why exactly were you using 0.002 as the value for the pscale? I was listening through the video and couldn't hear any reason you gave for that.

Hi Jerzy! I'm not sure if mask was added in 19.5, but I always suggest using the latest stable build for my tuts. As an alternative, you would need to drop an attribute wrangle, connect your non distorted geo to the first input (that also has the mask), distorted to the second and write down: vector initP = @P; vector distortedP = point(1, "P", @ptnum); @P = lerp(initP, distortedP, @mask); or maybe switch the initP and distortedP places in lerp func, i.e. lerp(distortedP, initP, @mask)

Hi Nick, I would like to ask you: in Blend Shapes node I do not see Blend Masking option. Houdini 19.0.589. Any idea why it could be like this?
