I think this is probably the low point of the franchise. The next ones are better so I hope you continue the series. I do miss the OG cast though. I believe the Spaniards didn't just want to destroy the chalices, they intended to destroy the entire fountain of youth. The chalices were important for the ritual, yes, but the power lies also in the landmark itself. It also explains why they wanted to get there before anyone else would use it. That being said, The whole story is half baked and the Spaniards dont provide enough to the plot to take up screen time.
