I just watched this for the 1st time with your watchalong. I definitely didn't expect all this humour but I liked it, the movie was a ride for sure. As soon as we see that the scene with Kashyap's daughter is 15 years in the past I think it's rather obvious that something is up with the daughters as they are both the same age and it's probably not a coincidence. I immediately thought Sethupathi's daughter was the other guy's daughter or the girl's friend in school is Kashyap's daughter.

2024-08-20 11:50:21 +0000 UTCFor the amount of movies you guys watch, it is disappointing that you guys missed so many clues that connect the dots between the different timelines. It was right in front of your eyes and you could not connect the dots! It was really frustrating at a point to see you guys almost complain about what is happening, as if the screenplay is flawed, after you very clearly missed a lot of links that tied the timelines together. One example is when he narrates what happened to the police officer in the end and the real incident plays out simultaneously. The daughter saw the dustbin after she entered the house, which makes it clear that it was never missing! If you had realized that, you could have connected the dots and figured out that the dustbin which was at Anurag Kashyap's house was never a stolen thing. Also, rape is a very sensitive issue and it is a big problem in India and so it is a key element of this movie. It also justifies his motive to find each and every one of them and end them. The brutality of the crime is what justifies Maharaja's patience to find them and do what he had to in the film. It had to be portrayed like that.

The movie is very intense and I'm with you guys when you both felt a bit of inconsistency in terms of some silly jokes in between the story, which contradicts the actual genre. However, I appreciate how cryptical the plot is. Even though the storyline is slightly confusing a bit in the starting, the message was conveyed very well at the end. It was good that there wasn't any dramatic long fights with the villain in the climax like other typical revenge movies in Tamil, otherwise it could've spoiled the message part of the movie. Overall I enjoyed your reaction to this. I think you people should also watch some normal, fun movies in Tamil not just the intense ones. Peace✌️.

Why our Tamil audience always suggest movie filled with poverty, violence, violence, child vulnerability, out burst crying, oppression, massala, super hero Vijay, slapping and etc. Hindi audience always suggest them to watch middle class and upper class films. There are so many great feel good movies from Tamil industry. No punching, slashing and slapping. I want jaby and team to have watching comedy films and middle class movie. Please my mounam pesiyadhe starring suriya and Trisha. Please. Thank you.
