This is the first reaction in (hopefully) a new series of reactions where I show Jaby a popular rom-com that I enjoyed and see if I can get him to start appreciating the genre π¬ Hope you enjoy it!

The Gasworks Park where the "paint ball" scene is still there in Seattle and was there before the movie. The school in the movie is actually in Tacoma and called Stadium High School. For some reason at a couple of my school dances, the DJ played In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida, and this was in the mid 90s. There were a lot of confused faces in the room. I still really like this film, though the scenes with the school councilor have not aged well at all. A couple others romcoms I liked form this time frame were Can't Hardly Wait, Fools Rush In, and Keeping the Faith (this one I highly recommend as it stars Ben Stiller and Ed Norton).

First of all, we're not mocking Indian cinema - we just talked about the film in our livestream and shared our honest opinions. I'm not sure how much of the stream you watched because while there were some things that we didn't like as much, there were definitely many things that we did enjoy. We're glad that you, Our Stupid Reactions and the majority of the audience loved this film. That's great! We never go into a film wanting it to be bad or for it to fail so we're happy that it's doing well and is well received. Like I said, we're just sharing our opinions. If you prefer the reviewing style of other reviewers, then you can watch their videos. I don't know how long you've been watching our videos but Jaby is a VERY nitpicky person. He's very analytical - especially about movies and he will nit pick American films and shows as much (if not more so) than Indian content. Just because he picks something apart and is critical, doesn't mean that he doesn't appreciate the content. Critiques are important for growth and just because someone doesn't appreciate the same things as you, it shouldn't devalue how you feel about those things yourself. Hope this helps.

Because it was a action film in the 2nd half vikram is breaking all box office records. vikram is competing with top gun mavrick in the us box office. Understand you are not the target audience
