Hayes' son came out and said he was entering into dementia and people from the church actually wrote and submitted the statement of him quitting on his behalf, making it look like thats how he felt. but Issac loved the show and how it left nothing off limits and would never have quit for that reason if he was in his right mind and in control of his faculties/rights. he also loved Matt and Trey, and even they came out and said how they felt bad about the animosity they felt towards him because it was based off of false information. but this episode came out before they knew that, which is why they gave the last appearance and death of chef such a negative scripting (being a pdf and the gruesome death)
