I respect your opinion but what I meant is throughout the 1,000 years klaus has done horrible acts to each of his siblings and suffered no to very little punishment for those acts and on top of it got forgiveness from all his siblings after repeated betrayals and schemes and for him to go as far as he did punishing his siblings for attempting to protect their niece because klaus gave them every reason to doubt him because of how he was acting is not justified. Dahlia also rag dolled the orginials including Mikael the plan for the wolves was to run in the hopes of losing dahlia (which I found stupid as well) but I can see where hayley was coming from, klaus took ownership to Aidan’s death and since he gains nothing from owning up to that death no one thought he was lying as in their eyes he literally gains nothing. Klaus took ownership to Aidan’s death to make them fear him and ultimately him admitting to that death further pushed Elijah to jump on board of letting hayley leave so once again klaus’s actions had a hand in the matter. And klaus was able to figure a plan to beat or delay dahlia because he was daggered. In case you fail to remember klaus plan wouldn’t have worked either because they had an ingredient wrong, had klaus not been daggered he would’ve failed as well and the child would’ve been taken as she had already man handled them all once already. And freya had proven herself time in and out to everyone but klaus’s paranoia wouldnt let him trust her which I can understand due to klaus’s past and the stakes being so high but it’s without a doubt that they wouldn’t have stood a chance against dahlia without freya, and everytime freya proved herself useful Elijah and Rebecca saw it and then saw klaus completely push her away and those actions to them seemed harmful to the safety of the child because freya was obviously helping and without that help the child stood 0 chance

2022-11-04 16:35:26 +0000 UTCI disagree. Krause punishment was equal to the crime. Not only, did they help Hayley escape with the same wolves Dahlia defeated with a twist of her hands; they also stupidly believed Klaus killed Aiden when through the episode it’s never show that he was alone long enough to do so. He was always with Hayley, Elijah, Rebecca, and or Cami. Finally, they daggered him while his daughter’s safety was in question, and once they found out he wasn’t guilty, they left him daggered. They ended up failing, so hope could’ve been captured or killed by the time he was undaggered and he would’ve had no say. Frey’s was not trustworthy and for them to trust her so easily over Klaus when his child was in jeopardy, they luck their punishment wasn’t worse. The only 3 l feel any ounce of sympathy or pity for is Aiden, Gia, and Josh. Everyone else got just deserts

2022-11-03 20:36:17 +0000 UTCI wouldn’t really consider it running at the start. The original plan was to move into the bayou and hide from dahlia since the crescents were forced to retreat there with their curse, they thought they could outplay dahlia with some kind of hide and seek until she went back to sleep since they had already done so with the vampires. Wasn’t until klaus took the blame for Aidens death that Hayley decided to actually run because up to that point klaus was being controlling and not talking to anyone and with Aidens death they thought he was off the rails. Klaus’s objective to taking Aidens murder accusations was in hopes that her people would stop following her therefore rejecting the protection they sworn because she would associate with someone who brutally killed one of their kind but I do agree her punishment was fitting because of her intentions to take hope from klaus 👍

2022-08-25 02:32:06 +0000 UTCKlaus took the credit for killing adien in hopes Haley would not run, which she did. She was planning on running even prior to that event. She was absured thinking hope would be better protected with her and Jackson then with klaus. Also she was being influenced by Jackson who is a outsider to separate hope from klaus and his family. And Elijah against anything got fooled by his love for Haley to believe in her and Jackson terrible plan over his own brother. So the punishment was fitting. Also Elijah plan was going to fail anyway so, the entitlement by everyone was insane

2022-08-25 00:30:38 +0000 UTCI agree, klaus took it way to far on his siblings punishments when he’s been forgiven for much worse and has done much worse to them for much less, think Hayley’s punishment was somewhat fitting for attempting to take the child from klaus, but this episode also showed just how crazy good klaus is with his planning, he found out his orginal plan and his siblings plan wasn’t going to work the moment he was taken to Esther’s and Dahlias flash back and built a plan in the short time he was being told a story by dahlia
