I'm rewatching your reactions to fill in the Droughtlander before Season 7 begins. A history fact that you might want to know is that Lord Lovett was a real figure in History and ironically was the last person to be beheaded in Scotland. Also, I hope you got to see the blooper of your favorite scene of Jamie carrying Claire to bed. First time they did it, Cait burped as Jamie was laying her on the bed and they all broke into hysterics!!

I'm like you, I rarely rewatch the Paris episodes for all the same reasons you've listed above & I often say that season 2 is my least favorite season bcus of those same reasons you've listed above. Scotland is almost a character of its own. It plays such a big part of the show & you can feel the love Jamie has for it, as well as, the love Claire begins to develop for it 💞 Idk, it's a beautiful country...on screen & in person:).

They were so beautifully heartbreaking💔 Did you notice that when he was on his knees, he said that he lost the baby but hoping to have another and in the episode Claire says it was her fault. When he was on his knees reciting their wedding vows “Bone of my bone and blood of my blood… until our life shall be done” and then said it is not done. That just hit my heart. I love that they brought Fergus with them and he basically became their adopted son. The way he calls them milord and milady is adorable. I think many fans preferred it when C&J returned to Scotland. When they were in Paris, they weren’t themselves and so distant from each other and you even noticed how close and loving they were once they got back to Scotland. Yes, the Prince forged Jamie’s name on that document due to his “support” in Paris, making Jamie a traitor, so now he wants to do what he can to help the Jacobites win the war. Nefarious means evil or wicked, so Jamie was saying his grandfather obtained his wives nefariously. Probably by force. Jamie even mentioned by rape. When I have watched S2 in the past, I tend to skip most of the Paris episodes because I hate seeing them apart, but I love them together so much❤️ I think most women want to be Claire and the love of Jamie’s life. It was funny when you mentioned how good Jamie looked in his kilt and his hair. He grew it out and had to color it red because in the books he has red hair, but I think I prefer the red hair over his natural blonde hair. It brings out his blue eyes.
