While S2E13 is stunning, I like the first half of season 2 (in Paris). One of the several reasons I like the episodes in Paris is the clothes, which I typically don't pay attention to. Every episode in Paris has Claire in striking and gorgeous sophisticated-looking clothes. The family tree showed 7 generations between Black Jack/Mary and Frank. Thus, Mary is Frank's great great great great great grandmother. Maybe Frank inherited his kind nature from Mary. Jaime learned of devastating info that would defeat their efforts, and he was so anxious to seek Claire's counsel, and she was not there for hours into the night. I think my favorite part of this episode is the interaction with Fergus. "What is politics but chess on a grand scale?" "I give you permission to respect me less." "To Mother Hildegard, without who our enemies would remain unknown to us. To my wife, who is always there when I need her."

I hate seeing the tension between Jamie and Claire. I just love them and can’t wait to see your upcoming reactions. 😊
