How Elena felt before she became a vampire being amplified on top of the sire bond gave Damon the edge he needed. Imagine every time she gets mad at him and all he has to tell her is to not be that way. She will drop it every time without breaking the sire bond.

She never sees what happens between Damon and Elena and remember ELENA keeps this stuff from Caroline and everyone else cause Elena was 'ashamed' of how she felt cause she was with Stefan. I understand why Caroline told Elena about he sire bond too. This was finding out her best friend just slept with someone when she may not have the capacity to consent. She doesn't tell Elena she is sired until AFTER she finds out Elena slept with Damon. Which is why she says "she kinda had to". I feel like if I were in her position of just not being SURE I'd have told her too. Honestly the boys should have just told Elena when they found out. P.S. I am entirely biased when it comes to Caroline lol she is perfect even when she isn't and I will die on this hill.

Episode 7 was posted last wednesday so it's should be a little further down (after episode 6) the reason is episode 7 is not yet available for the TVD tier, it's only available for the ultimate tier! I'm working towards having episode in advance for the Ultimate tier (maybe 2-3) and there will also be a new tier that is even further in episodes!! So don't worry, just go down after episode 06 and you'll find 07 <3

It is understandable that Stefan is trying to find a reason for Elena breaking up with him, but the fact that he is not even contemplating the fact that she might not being in love with him anymore is not even conceivable and so far fetching to him that makes him everything but relatable. The very concept that Elena cannot possibly not being in love with him, that is so perfect, so him, like Caroline said, and he so arrogantly concurred that is non conceivability she might be in love with someone else and most of all with Damon, it is exactly what makes Stefan so insufferable. Stefan character in this episode is just about everything I absolutely have contempt for in a person. Haughty, arrogant, self-righteous, insensitive, mean to his brother at the point of using his insecurities to hurt him, to hit him below the belt. This is Stefan at his lower point of likability. Stefan is this episode is despicable. And even when he get told that being sired effect actions not emotions, he just ignore it and keep acting as he has some form of privileged claim over Elena that gives him the right of decision over Elena and Damon ‘s relationship. I understand that he is hurt because Elena split up with him, but his reaction is of a spoilt child. What happen to Stefan respecting Elena’s choices? Of course disappear when Elena’s choices do not go in his way... Caroline too, It is understandable she doesn’t like Damon because of their past, but you are not being a good friend to either Stefan, by pushing him to keep going, instead of help him to let go, and most of all to Elena by inserting herself in her life. That is not being a friend; everybody has the right to make mistakes if there are mistakes to make. So if Caroline things that Elena is making a mistake, it is her right to tell her, but then she should back off, be a friend and support her choices no matter what they are. Let’s not forget that when Damon arrived into town he had his humanity off gradually on a dimmer switch, so he didn’t care about anything, especially not about Caroline, he didn’t know and used her as vampires do, because she was in a position to get him what he came into town for. When she didn’t serve his purpose, he treated her with contempt. As Anna did with the barman guy, use him to do her dirty work. Now from Damon point of view. Everybody things bad of him first, because he is the first person that deep down is convinced he is not worthy of love, second of all because he doesn’t advertise his good deeds, nobody knows how he is in reality. I don’t believe he just evolved, from n bad to good, he was good in the first place and got lost on the way because he is like a stray dog bitten too many times, took advantage of, manipulated of, pray on his weaknesses, like Lexi did, she is responsible for keeping the brothers apart, for Damon living his life alone, and Stefan never facing his problems. So nobody but Elena knows his kind heart, his selfless nature, not even Stefan. Now the sire bond. Stefan is in denial, and way too much intrusive. Damon doesn’t want a relationship that is not 100 per cent real. And Elena knows that the sire bond doesn’t affect the way she feels, he never told her to love him or to have sex with him. So that is another challenge through at them. And we can add, to a long list, another person deceiving Damon, to get access to expression magic, the one professor shady is teaching to Bonnie without her knowing is not a good thing at all apparently. Let’s see how that one will pan out.
