fun facts i think are interesting : jeff davis created criminal minds (wtf??) ; dylan and tyler were best friends in real life yes, i think they're not as close anymore but they still are friends, they were both 18 when the show started so they grew up together ; tyler saying "you always remember your first love" is funny, bc his first love/kiss/gf was miley cyrus when they were like 8 years old ahah ; colton is gay, although he wasn't publicly out yet at this moment (season 1) so everyone thought he was dating holland when in fact, they're best friends! ; also holland lives in a van now that she renovated herslef (she has a youtube channel where she vlogged the entire process), she couldn't be more far away of a person from lydia (except for the intelligence part bc she was still in pre-med college when they were shooting season 1) ; and yeah the cast was really close (still are but not as much as when filming) you can literally find some pics online of them having fun, partying when they were like 18/20 and they look sooo young!
