Great Reaction as always Evie, was looking forward to this episode and your reaction, it did not disappoint. I will only add the following as I would only be repeating what others have already stated. Season 2x08 Damon tells Elena he loves her in her bedroom and makes her forget. 3x08 Damon and Elena fall asleep next to one another in her bedroom.

They spent months together, without Stefan, and I think they look closer on a personal level than her and Stefan ever did, as far as what we were shown.

I really have no idea but I'm excited cause I honestly didn't notice his face being puzzled but if I did I probably brushed it off as it being a compassionate look for Elena relating to Rebekah.. but we'll see :)

2021-07-24 22:36:36 +0000 UTCI love the originals. Rebekah is my favv love her so much. Felt so bad for her. Though I must say I feel super bad for Klaus too. It wasn’t his fault his mom had an affair; his father was always mean and rough with him he didn’t love him. His mother put the hybrid cruse on him and turned her back on him. I mean why wouldn’t he kill her? And as Elena said with the werewolf gene comes anger and aggression plus combined being a vampire, he couldn’t control his urges probably. When Rebekah says always and forever it always gives me chills.... The mythology and lore in this show is insane you will love it just keeps getting better. I like what Rebekah said about her that she’s stubborn, Elijah is moral and Klaus can’t stand those who disappoint him. Very interesting. We are nearing the 10th Episode I’m so excited. Can’t wait for the 10th episode there’s a surprise for u in that one 🙈Obviously won’t spoil you but be ready for it!!! 😁

2021-07-24 18:06:23 +0000 UTCThat last Delena scene is just absolutely beautiful. I always get emotional watching it specially what Elena says moves me so much. It’s true Damon is the one who is Stefan’s emotional touch stone and he could very be the one who gets Stefan back. Hearing this from Elena makes it even more special for me and we could see it in Damon’s eyes he felt it too he realised how much Stefan means to him and how much he means to Stefan. Damon obviously loves him we know that but he needed to hear this from Elena and the way he looks at her sleeping is so tender and beautiful I just can’t 🥺😭😭♥️ For moments like these I love S3 so much. Even with Stefan and damon this Episode Stefan could see Damon trying so hard to get him back and he understood he couldn’t see Stefan suffering in that cell and he says Aww careful brother your humanity is showing and damon punches him that’s just brotherly love I absolutely love Defan moments I just want more of these every time.

That Delena scene is one of my favorite scenes of them, I love how natural they act around each other ❤️ Elena is so smart and people doesn’t give her the credit she deserves, it makes me really mad…

2021-07-24 15:30:58 +0000 UTCThe story of the Originals is so interesting and well written, they are Vickings and we saw a flashback of them be humans. Their story and what happened it will unfold bits by bits and will be amazing. True the biggest love story of this show is Stefan and Damon the most compelling and poetic one. There is no doubt that they love each other more then they love anybody else, they fight, the hurt each other like only brothers can do because they know the other weaknesses, but at the end when it comes to the point that one of them is in danger they would die to protect one another, as we saw already many times. And Damon, apart anything he has a soft spot for his little brother, especially now that they have been leaving together for over a year, Damon would have never left his brother chained up to be tortured, “screw this Lexi plan” let’s apply brotherly love and care. Elena is really good at reading people and she can take information out of anybody, she is so smart. Her relationship with Damon has evolved at the point that they are so comfortable around each other. They are in bed together talking like married couple do at the end of the day when they tell each other how was their day and the way Damon looked at her falling asleep is so tender, he loves her deeply. Evie don’t worry, because if this scene doesn’t makes you emotional you must have a heart of stone and you obviously have a tender heart and that is a beautiful thing, to defend and uphold proudly. One thing very very important to remember that is a foreshadowing, Elena is telling to Damon that Rebekah “...is just a girl that lost her mom very young and that she loves blindly and recklessly even if it consumes her” and Damon look at her with a puzzled face...why the puzzled face? What is Damon thinking?
