Salutations all!

I already have plenty of ideas of what is to come next for chapter two. Several notes already written for the first few scenes I've conceptualized and already started the first scene's script.

A couple things I plan on doing first is reorganizing my database. In the last couple of months, things got a pretty crazy as I was going back and forth working on multiple things. My whole workspace got a little messy. So cleaning that up first is a priority, so I have a fresh workspace to work on chapter 2 with.

Another thing is updating the models, which I kind of already started to do (So much for taking time off, haha) I won't be upgrading the models to Genesis 8.1. I was working the protagonist and I let out a laugh...I mean, it was literal RTX on/off, handsome Squidward meme stuff. The guy looked more jacked, cheekbones were real defined, wider jaw. I mean, it still looked like the protag, just you know...juiced up. Don't get me wrong, the model looked amazing. But it was too stark a difference for me to use.

But I will be reviewing textures of all the characters and making sure there is consistency with eyes and use better images for better renders. I did a lot of 3D stuff back in high school and to me, eyes were always important. Reina and Dominique have odd eye textures and I'll be addressing those for sure for the next chapter so their eyes will match the quality of the rest of the cast. I'm sure you may have noticed the difference between Cassie (past) and Cassie (present). You can tell I was in my early stages, so the eye textures weren't the best on her early model.

I find joy with every part of this project, but I find the most joy in the writing. So, I'll be going back to chapter one's variable table and taking note of things so choices are consistent. I'm also going to review the first script and make notes of notable things to carryover. I also want to finalize a character sheet for the cast. I already did this, but in the way beginning. Characters have evolved since. Hell, Naomi was originally just a throwaway character now she is a main character. So I want to create profiles for me to reference to when writing scenes and character interactions.

So after my day or two off, there's going to be a bit of everything I'll be going into while I start chapter two. I've already started the first scene for this chapter, so things are already underway. As well as updating some of the assets. Cleaning my workspace is the big one. Basically organize my models and prep them for their next part. And zip up chapter one for final backup.
