Stella Christmas Card 150 DPI
Added 2022-12-11 18:11:26 +0000 UTCThe original drawing arrived last year at Patron Kanbe's home, along with his commissions! It's an extra gift I gave him to thank him for supporting me and so I made this drawing inside a greeting card ( that's why there is a crease in the middle ) .
In Italy Stella means star and we have a Christmas plant called Stella di Natale that we use to give to friends and relatives at Christmas. Translated it would be Christmas Star. So I thought it was perfect to draw him Stella, the croupier/magician of Delight Castle!
I hope you like it, you can put your name and dedicate it to your friend :) ( Kanbe has the original piece and my dedication for him ^_^).

Thank you! It's nice to read these compliments, because the color scheme, as well as the effects, are limited by the few colors and tools available, handcrafted. It means a lot to me to be able to give a beautiful result in an artisanal way. These days I'm reading a lot of discussions about AI creating drawings. I think I'm against AI mixing other artists' works, I would prefer if AI has its own style, however it can be a help in a tight time frame if you are looking for references! It takes me days to find the references, as you have seen it was a great job to find and collect Sicilian costumes from the end of the 19th century. But as long as there are people like you who support and appreciate the handwork of a humble artist like me I needn't worry and I consider myself very lucky! Thank you!
