Ok I have additional thoughts. I rewatched the episode and I think it’s weird that the guards just show up randomly at his house. That all feels like a setup. Maybe they’re looking for Regto’s book as well but the killer got there first and set Rudo up? Also the killer has black skin on his arms and face so I think they’re definitely his dad or at the very least from the pit as well.
