Discussion - Patreon Votes

So on the subject of clear trends in what wins the votes (mostly LoL, WoW and 40k) it's a difficult issue but i think i have some ideas to do some changes in a postive way.

As you've probably already seen on this months patreon vote i already have take off the additional version descriptions cause that may have contributed and was clearly influenced by me going with what i thought is the safest way.
Example: random franchise characters tend to have more, and more extreme, versions than oc's where i may offend the owner.

So what changes?

First and foremost:
I will NOT prohibite someone's sketch from participating in the vote!
Example:  "your sketch won the month before, now you have to wait x amount of time"! Patreon would rightfully be mad at me for denieing people access to something they paid for. I would not feel good telling peope that and punishing someone for winning a vote would just be unfair.

What I like more is giving people incentives to drop out on their own with like:
-  you get a guaranteed a sketch next month.
I like this one since it can be done in many ways and takes alot of pressure away from people who can not always participate but has a two issues:
if only last months winner gets that offer, it would reduce the options by only one
if everyone can drop out it would quickly turn into an endless circle - fewer people have a chance that not already have won

- limit all sketches to 1 or 2 characters max but by droping out allows sketches with 2 or 3 characters.
I like this one alot tbh cause i feel like with three characters my quality goes down, my best sketch work is either single or two characters. Three character vote winners are rather common now and the workload really is throwing me for a loop more often than i dare to admit.

If you have ideas please let me know! This is very much open for discussion and I want to here your thoughts,... jesus i sound like a Youtuber XD
Some issues i still haven't found a solution for example are:
I do not know how to make OC's have a higher appeal to voters aside from making two seperate votes and even there is the question: do WoW charas count as oc's or franchise ? where to draw the line there and what to do with edge cases?
