Thundercon - Day 1

Okay, okay. I am teasing. While the ball pit WAS there, the con wasn't totally boring. It WAS extremely disorganized and could stand to have more content, though. I am working to change that... x.x

On the Saturday, Auragale and Azariah joined me as the Totally Spies - Clover, Sam, and Alex. We held our panel about getting started in cosplay.

Unfortunately, the schedule was misprinted not once, but twice, and said that our panel was going to be 45 minutes earlier than we were told. So we had a little bit of a panic attack when we first arrived. XD

Eventually everything got sorted out, and people managed to find our panel. It went well! We were then asked to lead the cosplay parade. This essentially featured everyone who wanted to join in costume walking around the perimeter of the vendor hall / main stage room. (Yes, unfortunately all one room) The man on stage asked if he could have some music for the fabulous cosplay guests... The lady on soundcheck stared at him like a deer in headlights and shook her head. And so we walked around the room in complete silence, awkwardly waving our arms around and trying to raise a cheer. 😂

I got to meet Kirby Morrow, a Canadian voice actor who played Miroku in Inuyasha. Check my Instagram post for a video. It's hard to hear "Alicornia" sadly. :(

We also got to meet the actor who played the Night King in Game of Thrones.
