My Personal Top 10 Sets of 2023

Thought I'd do a small end-of-year top 10 ranking of my sets. It'd be interesting to see what difference - if any - there is between my picks and yours.

Well, lets get to it.

10. Witcher Contract: Ther Drunken Troll

This set was a weird one as I had a lot of limintations with the troll model and it's awful textures. However I tried to compensate that with sokme of the best lighting I've ever done period. The opening scene where Ciri is in awe of the Troll's member is still some of the hottest smut I've made. A personal highlight for me was the story. The idea of all these women just geting boned by Boris and the men folk wanting him gone was a cool little concept that I liked.  

9. Breeding the Pack

First time using the Anna set and it was really good. Took a lot of work to get the lighting right but once I did it was totally worth it. Loved the concept and the monsters were fun to render even with their shitty SFM rigs. The metro games and Anna are criminally underrated imo so adding to the smut is always worth it. My favourite set of poses would be when she’s getting tag teamed at the end.

8. Interspecies Mating Studies: Krogan

These models are super high quality yet easy to use. So I’m never fighting the models to make what I want. Loved this set and the story of Shep being wary at first and Samara having to teach her. The poses with Samara on top of the krogan is the highlight for me. Loved the look she gave Shepard as she’s riding the alien.

7. Resident Evil: Belly of the Beast  

Loved the premise here. With Ada being trapped in a hot, claustrophobic room with a bunch of eggs. Really took inspiration from Alien with this one. Always loved the horror/eroticism from the first film and wanted to try and incorporate that into the set. One feature I loved about this set was how Ada was getting sweatier and sweatier with each render. It helped sell the idea that she was trapped in something outer worldly.

6. A Hard Days Night

Wasn’t sure whether I should put this set or Shore Leave here. But I went with the former as the poses here were really good and flowed from one another super smooth. I liked how Miranda went from being grossed out by the Varren, to being ok with him then to being a total slut for it.

5. Unusual Methods

Although I hated the set near the end as I was getting really tired from it after like 140 images, looking back over it I’m still impressed with it. The Gwent scene at the start was fun to make after I lost the previous set with this idea. The section with Triss and Yen was well done. If I could go back I’d redo the part with Uma and flesh it out more. But overall it was a good set and highlights the reason why I keep my sets being lore friendly as it feels like something that could happen during that part of the game with Uma.

4. Resident Evil: Running Out of Options

This was one of those sets where everything came together really well. Never used tentacles really before, but I was both surprised and impressed with how well they came out. The whole section with Jill and Nemesis was the highlight of the set for me when he was holding her up. Plus this was the first set where I really got how to do a booba suck which was a pleasent surprise. 

3. Exposing The Supergirl

I love doing girl-on-girl sets and this I think is my best. Particularly down to the story. I loved the concept of Harley and Catwoman tying Kara up and filming her to expose her true nature to the world. I guess it’s that voyeuristic nature to it. I was imagining just being some random person watching the videos of it on the news. Seemed hot to me. Plus I liked how I was able to tie the poses into the story with all three of them being involved. The only downside to this set was that I really wanted to use the strap on but couldn’t get it to work. Still though, the Kryptonite Double Dildo was a super neat idea.

2. Bathing Beauty

This set with Triss is probably my best with her yet. The lighting and scenery in particular are a highlight. It’s a really picturesque set in my opinion. The section with Triss bathing I paced really well - tried to make it as elegant and erotic as possible. Then when the horse entered the scene it just was elevated to a new level. Wasn’t expecting it to look as good as it did, but boy was it fun to work with. I love posing Triss’ expressions during the spicy stuff.

1. Malfunction

There aren’t many sets that I’d see as perfect. Most of the time there’s a few errors that I can find. But this one the few errors that are there are so negligible that they’re almost irrelevant. From the story, to the poses, everything in this set just came out perfect. I loved the opening section with Shepard and the Pryo Unit that just broke down and covered Shep in cum. Any idea I had in my head I was able to transfer to the final image. Even after near 100 images I could've still ended up making more images for this set - it was that fun. 

Looking back over the list, I'd say my work really improved when I upgraded from a 3070 to a 4090. It allowed me to render out images way, way quicker taht meant I could flesh out story sections and utilise alternate angles more often. For example, my 3070 would render an image at 4K out in around 8 minutes on average. Now, on the 4090 I can do it it as little as 2 minutes. Hell, 4 minutes is too long for me now. 

So because I saved time from rendering an image I could make my sets longer and more in depth without spending any longer than I did before making them. Couldn't have done it without you guys. I say it a lot, but your support here means so much to me. The fact that you guys are interested and passionate enough about what I make motivates me with each set to get better and better.
