Backstage - Thumbs and WIPs

Yo guys! Hope your week is going well so far. I’ve been hard at work doing page roughs for this comic, which I’m currently calling Backstage. The story is overall pretty simple, June and Abby get invited to come “party” in the backstage dressing room at a local punk show. I think I really just wanted to draw more sex than usual this time and worry less about a narrative. I also wanted to focus a little more on Abby this time, because she’s mostly been just a side character and I think she deserves more screen time. :)

I’m still working out roughs on a few of these pages and believe it or not may add a few more pages by the end. I’ve been taking a slightly non-linear approach to the layouts on this comic, similar to the one I took when working on last year’s comic New Job. Lemme know if you can tell a difference!
