April Newsletter - Upcoming Videos, Plans, Collaborations, Merch Update

Whatsup patrons? It's ya boi here and I wanted to fill you all in on my video plans for April. I've got some good stuff in the works so I'm really excited to share this with you!

Modern Warfare 2 Remastered Review + Potential Warzone Review + Discussion about COD 2020 rumors.

I'm not sure if I'm going to lump all these things into one Call of Duty Update type video but at the very least I will review and discuss the good & bad of the MW2 Remaster. What I think of it, the changes made, are they substantial, etc. I also plan on discussing my thoughts on the lack of a remastered Multiplayer and why I do & don't want to see it happen in the future. This will be my next video. I'll be posting it sometime this weekend (April 10th-12th.) This video will also contain a Raycon sponsorship and so I have an obligation to get it out ASAP

Marty O' Donnel Blesses My Channel

My girlfriend thought this was a pretty hilarious title for the video, not 100% sure what I'll call it but yes! My interview/conversation with Marty went really well and we both had a lot of fun. There are some awesome topics we discuss, everything from Halo to what it was like working with Paul McCartney, Marty's run in with Bill Gates and a whole bunch of other cool stories. I would like to also post this video this upcoming weekend (April 10th-12th) but as of right now I feel like I will have to push it back to April 17th-19th. 

Q & A on Act Man TV

While I just posted a video there about Pessimism on YouTube, I had a big breakthrough with my 2nd channel. Basically, I realized I should cut more corners on that channel so I simply have more time for the main channel and can still upload supplementary, fun content. You all asked me questions on Twitter and hopefully I can get a buddy to edit this video for me to post sometime next week. If not, I can probably handle it. 

BIG REVIEW

I would love to do a big review this month, or at least continue working on one that I've already started writing/playing. I will probably post a poll here for games I should review, the ones that have been most recommended and then take that to heart. I know I still haven't made the Halo: Reach/MCC on PC video that you guys wanted me to make. I tried and I really wasn't happy with what I was writing so I will probably shelf that video until I feel more comfortable and/or 343i releases Halo 2, H2A, & Halo 3. So this AWESOME?! Or BAD?! review could be Bioshock, Infinite Warfare, Gears of War, or some other game that y'all have wanted me to review for a hot minute.

Merchandise Updates

For those of you that don't know, I had been working with PixelflareGFX AKA Will (the guy who makes my channel art and icons) on a merchandise store. At the moment, things have hit a wall and Will is kind of overloaded on work. I have no timeline for when the merch store will launch but when it does, I would love to send out some private orders to a bunch of you wonderful patrons. Patrons who have been around longer and donated more will get some priority but I will make an effort for new and lower-donating patrons as well! You guys are all important to me. 

Hidden Xperia Collaboration

I'm going to be collaborating with Hidden Xperia on his channel fairly soon. We plan on talking about if the Coronavirus will delay the Xbox Series X as well as Halo Infinite and speculate on the state of that game. Should be interesting to share our thoughts and for you guys to share them as well!

Conclusion

That about wraps up my plans for this month! Definitely got a lot of good stuff in store for all of you. Stay tuned for the sneak peak at my interview with Marty O' Donnell. And I will let you all know of any developments with other projects.
