Hey polers! This is a choreography I’m working on for my classes. It’s not exactly where I want it quite yet but I’m very pleased so far.

Have you done a helicopter on spin pole before? It’s a similar feeling. You can take the leg flare out and just aim to get your legs around the pole. As your body comes around, turn so that your back is more towards the pole and you are leading with your heels, if that makes sense. I’m always afraid of slipping off poles at clubs so this is how I do this spin! Haha. I keep my left hand on the pole until I absolutely need to move it, and then it acts as a little support against the pole so my back doesn’t take the whole brunt of the move. I have a bunch of teaching to do in the next few days but I can get to making a specific tutorial for this move on the weekend.

Eventually the tilt doesn’t really even seem like a tilt anymore. That tilt is also what helps in static rotations!
