Just an industry tidbit regarding Gaga's "avoidable paparazzi" comment - according to someone who used to work at Getty images, they have a list of celebrity relationships with photographers (the list is for paparazzi to negotiate which photographers will be sent out for particular events), and Gaga has long been at the top of that list. Gaga and her team were able to establish healthy relationships by doing personal deals with the paparazzi/press (the deal being Gaga doing certain poses or having specific moments negotiated in advance - like her doing an impromptu performance walking out of an airport in her Venus outfit - and in return, her team gets to pick out which photographers will come and which photos they will use so that Gaga will be in her best angles); she would personally speak to photographers, and she doesn't use too many handlers. This is why you will rarely or even never see a bad paparazzi photo of Gaga. Gaga is a student of pop culture and fame (she's a known Britney fan so she has witnessed what Britney has gone through with the press) so early on she was able to establish a healthy relationship with paparazzi because she understands both the art and business of taking photos (especially the pros and cons it can bring). She pays good money to her security to keep her away when she doesn't want to be seen AND she keeps a two-way relationship with the paparazzi.

It’s incredibly toxic and I don’t quite understand why we are still pinning powerful and influential women against eachother. The same Gaga fans hating on Beyonce and Beyonce fans hating on Gaga are begging for Telephone Pt. 2….it doesn’t make any sense. Thank you for having this channel for those of us who love positivity around the music we care about ❤️ we love and appreciate what you do!
