Loss is never easy, but Muriel can empathize

I just wanted to make something where Muriel is comforting the listener. I feel like a lot of the stuff I do with him it's the other way around because of how broody and such he is, but sometimes it's nice to get comforted instead! In addition, Muriel in canon has lost a lot of things in life, so I feel like he would have a lot of thought and such on the matter. I hope you all enjoy!

Of course.....

Come here.....let me hold you....

*shuffling*

I know that....loss....is a devastating thing.....however it manifests.....

And.....I am not telling you not to mourn......that is something that everyone should experience in their own time.....

You simply seem......stuck......

*pause*

Would that be a fair assumption?

*pause*

It's alright, Snowdrop......you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to.......even if you never want to talk about it.....I will never force you to.....

As I said......mourning is important, in the process of loss.....allowing ourselves to feel the pungent sting of it is.....good for us.....

It reminds us of the ebb and flows of life.....that things are always changing......

Change can be a frightening thing as well....but approaching it with a certain......mindset is better than.....dwelling.....

Stewing in the grief and the loss and the change can cause said change to affect us even further.....

Accepting that change is inevitable......just as loss is......it can help your view......make it easier to navigate life......

*pause*

I know it's hard......especially right now while the strength of your lamentations is at its peak.......

Allow yourself to do so.......

Remember though, that through loss......new beginnings can flourish.....change is not always bad......and if we blind ourselves with grief......we can become blind to the opportunities that present themselves......

Taking a risk......

Revealing myself to you.....was a risk and change that I thought would break me.......

But it is the best thing that I've ever done.....

*pause*

I'm not saying to jump on everything that you possibly can.....that is....a potential way to destruction......but allow yourself to view the world with open eyes....and an open heart.....

You might be surprised where it leads you.....

Plus.....new beginnings doesn't mean that the old is lost......it can be something remembered.....it should be something remembered.......

But brooding upon it......could do more harm than good.....

*chuckles softly*

Take it from a seasoned brooder.......

I think what I mean, Snowdrop.....is simply this......

Feel the things you need to feel for however long you may need to feel them......but try not to close yourself off to new avenues.....new paths you can take......

And also remember.....you are not doing this alone......I will be here with you.......here for you......

And I will walk those new paths with you if you need.......

*deep sigh*
