Lady Gaga - Super Bowl LI Halftime Show FIRST TIME REACTION

She was on the roof but it was pre-recorded prior to the live show for safety purposes. While that part of the performance was playing, she was getting lifted to the indoor ceiling. That part was also a way she was able to get political yet be safe. This was during Trump’s admin, “God Bless America” + “This Land Is Your Land” with the American wave behind her was very patriotic.

What makes this Superbowl performance more impressive is that she did the full show NONSTOP. Most performers include featured guests so that they can have time to breathe and change outfits, but Gaga did it all flawlessly by herself (and her amazing crew)!

So the object she was holding during telephone is a disco stick. In her first era/album she would go around performing with a variety of disco sticks that she often handmade. It’s referenced in her song love game. She did have a disco stick in the Joanne ball lol Also some lore, the guy holding the mic for her, is Ian McKenzie who has been performing with Gaga since ikea parking lots in 2008 up until recently in copacabana and the Singapore shows.
