Peridot: The bright green color of nature. This stone is associated with harmony, good health, restful sleep, and peacefulness. It's also known at the stone of compassion, and is believed to calm anger by giving renewal to all things. A stone that has been found in the volcanic lava in Hawaii, and in meteorites that have fallen to Earth. Egyptians called the stone the 'gem of the Sun' and believed it had special healing powers. The stone is also deemed to emit positive spiritual energy and is believed to channel love and abundance.

National Kiss and Make Up Day: Arguments, quarrels and fights happen. It doesn't matter what type of relationship you have with another person, there is bound to be at one point a disagreement. Kiss and Make Up day gives an opportunity to at the very least come to an understanding with the other person involved. Offering an apology, or simply breaking the silence can be enough to begin healing, if healing is what you want to happen in the first place. When we talk through issues calmly, we often find that there is some misunderstanding between both parties, and understanding that, we can come together again.

Gladiolus: Named after the Latin word for "sword" due to their shape, Gladiolus was believed to be worn by gladiators to help them win and protect them from death. Because of this, the flower is associated with strength and integrity. They also symbolize infatuation and faithfulness. By giving this flower to someone, you send the message, "You pierce my heart" due to the flowers pointed and 'sword-like' shape.
