Would You Like to See Scrapped Plotlines and Character Details?

Anyway, I was looking over my document where I plan out the novel, and saw some scrapped ideas that I never went with and was wondering if you guys were interested in an occasional post where I break it down? What I'm worried about is that it might influence how you might see the current story and think about how it could have gone otherwise, so I decided to make a poll.

Casualfarmer seems to enjoy doing AU stories where things went differently just to keep the creativity going and people love them but it's only if it aids and that process can really take a life of its own. You may end up with a split audience where a minority start howling for a dropped concept and so you write it out to please them but then your main audience gets frustrated by the plotlines dragging feet. This question really feels like you're the only one that can answer it but I'm not particularly invested in finding out how the sausage is made.
