The Dryad and the Merfolks

In the deepest parts of the Bloomgarden - one of the biggest forests within Jarturia - mystical creatures still dominate that untamed territory, too dangerous to any settlers daring to bring civilization to the forest. A great deal of such dangers comes from the protectors of the forest: the dryads.

As creatures made of nature, they were blessed by Ehlona with a form of a fairy and the purpose to protect the forest from invaders. Keeping the everchanging mystical woods from being touched by the hands of men was their final duty.

Whoever, they were not the only ones innabiting Bloomgarden: other demihumans like werewolves, lizardfolks and goblins also lived there as long they abide by the strict rules the dryads bestow upon them. They couldn't settle in certain parts of the forest and couldn't remove anything it gave them and share with the outside world.

Szejh understand such obligations, but was also curious about the outside world. Being a guardian dryad of the forest for a millenia, she only had the chance to glance at daring travelers crossing the wood a few times - and not long enough to ask the questions she wanted since they run away scared of the stories of the curses the dryads could bestow over invaders.

Such stories were grossly exaggerated, but she understood why they had to exist.

In a certain night, Szejh was taking a bath in the river while thinking about the outside world and how boring guarding a forest for a millenia is. While washing her vines, she spotted a small group of merfolk explorers, certainly climbing the river looking for something.

She knew about such incursions: the merfolk didn't live in Bloomgarden and come from a rocky island outside of the continent. They rarely came so deep in land - and even rarer to see them coming to the forest. Seizing the chance, Szejh revealed herself to them, in her dryad faerie form.

All the merfolk recoiled, scared. They never met a dryad so close, but Szejh knew her language of all living things, one of the blessings Ehlona gave to her kind.

"Travellers, don't be scared. I come to aid you... Hmmm... Why you all look flustered?"

The merfolk nearest to her pointed at her body.

"We're just amazed at your beautiful form, your holiness! We never seen a dryad so close!"

"She's a lot different from the illustrations in the books" the other mentioned, getting closer.

At the distant of a touch, one of the merfolks felt her breast, massaging it softly, with hesitation. They were daring in doing it, and such dariningess had to be rewarded! Szejh supressed a moan, scaring them once again. But then she giggled, giving a lascivious smile and guiding his hand to the rest of her body.

"Most travellers just ran off when looking at me. You all must be very courageous travellers to approach a dryad disregarding all the stories". She said, while her hands felt the merfolk's muscles. Both men embracing her, touching her. "I heard stories about you demihumans too. Its said people from the south get extra horny when far from their women for too long. I heard that your manhoods gets bigger, as well as your secretions. Is that true?"

"You're an agent of Ehlonna and don't know about this?" one of the merfolk argued, suspicious

She made a fleeting frustrated expression (those guys didn't know how to roleplay?), then quickly kissed that merfolk, sensing a volume raising bellow her femininity.

"I'm just curious. Why don't you show me?".

A cute commission of the Dryad Szejh learning about the advanced anatomy of the merfolk, one of the most neglected DnD races because nobody cared about maritimal adventures and the weird ocean combat rules (saying for myself, at least XD)

I like the cute dryads with flowers and leaves in place of the hair and some other things that makes drawing fairies so interesting. Naturally, being "nature creatures" you can make them barely clothed and still keep them in character! See? Worldbuilding is pretty important!

Hope you guys enjoy! I also included an old drawing from the same character from years ago. I believe I never posted those drawings on Patreon, so here you go! :D
