Photo Story #72

For this week's photo story, I'm going to share a little story of mine.

As some of you know, I used to be a rugby player, and I get asked a lot about stories from when I played. Now, for the most part, aside from getting to wrestle hot guys into the mud when I tackled them, there wasn't a great deal to share on the pitch.

But . . . there is one particular story that absolutely needs sharing, and has been on my list for years to write up.

So, here it is!

One of the guys on my team, let's call him Gary, was a lovely bloke but he was one of those guys that is ridiculously attractive and absolutely knows it. He was a complete womaniser, but he was great with the team, and a brilliant player.

Anyway, one of my buddies on the team, let's call him Andy, was an okay looking guy but around the rest of the team, he really struggled to find any girl that would give him a second glance. (For those wondering, I am afraid that on this team, I was the only gay guy, but there were a couple who were bi I would discover later on - another story, another time).

So, during this particular season, Andy gets more and more fed up with Gary until one game, when he snaps.

We're in the scrum (for anyone who doesn't know rugby, a scrum is made of three rows - I played Lock so I was in the second row, as was Gary - Andy played 8, which meant he was behind us in third row.

We're halfway through the second half, we get into the scrum, and just before the ball's tossed in, Gary makes a comment about wanting the game to be over because he's seeing some girl afterwards - a girl that Andy had had a crush on for months.

So, Andy sees red, the ball gets dropped, but Andy completely ignores the ball and goes instead for the visible strap peeking out below the leg of Gary's shorts. Although lots of guys in rugby wear cups, a lot don't bother with jockstraps and opt for briefs. Also, rugby shorts are pretty short and Gary always yanked his as high as he could to show off his thighs more. Bent over in a scrum, Gary's straps were on show and Andy grabbed one and yanked. I didn't hear the rip, or see Andy grab it, because I was focused on the game, but . . . when Andy yanks on the strap, it rips, but he holds on. The scrum separates and Andy rips Gary's jock completely free and yanks it out from under his shorts.

Gary stops and starts yelling at him, which catches my attention. I turn around just as Gary pushes Andy in the chest, but Andy is a tank of a guy (hence playing 8) and he just tosses Gary's jock on the floor and then yanks his shorts down. They're tight and only come down to mid-thigh but that's enough to have Gary's bare ass and cock and balls on full show, which resulted in a couple of hundred spectators laughing and pointing, as did me and most of the team.

Gary yanks his shorts up, tells Andy to fuck off and storms off the pitch. One of our subs comes on and we finish the game, by which time Gary has showered and left, but the following week at practice, he turns up and is a little sheepish. Everyone talks about what happens and he actually blushes. Him and Andy eventually came to a mutual understanding and laid off of each other, but I will never forget the sight of Gary in the middle of the pitch with his shorts around his thighs!
