As an FSU grad and diehard Pirates fan, I would be both excited and frustrated if they drafted Arnold. I get leaning into what they do well (ie developing pitching). But just thinking they can then trade pitching for comparable hitting is a huge assumption. Knowing who to keep and who to trade is a skill not every GM has. It is as difficult as knowing who to trade for. Ideally Arquette falls to them at 6. Otherwise, take Carlson or Willits

You're also right in that it's likely the best path for us, especially considering the HS SS depth of this class. That said, I'd bet they pick Willits. KG has to be encouraging for them and I think they'll see Willits as a fit in line with their other first round picks. Smart baseball minds who work their tails off. Looking forward to July!
