Each of the good girls experiences their counterpart as a corrupting voice in their head. The voice encourages them to do truly licentious things. The positions then flip – which casts serious doubt on who’s the puppet and who’s the puppeteer.
This final variation has a unique soundscape. It’s much more music box than drone. It also features previous Shadows as a palimpsest. The identity play layers doll on doll on doll until there’s a whole shelf of pliant puppets.
The Engine aims to mindlock dolls together in clockwork obedience loops. They’re always pulling each other back into submissive bliss.
