Important Patreon Update

Hello, everyone! I have some important things to share with you all in regards to this Patreon, myself, and the future.

This post is a bit long and I'm not a native English speaker so please keep this in mind!

It's been over a year since I opened this Patreon page, and I must say I'm dissatisfied with my ability to deliver, like I'm sure many of you feel as well. I have failed repeatedly at not only providing you with the art you expected, but also at doing something so simple as communicating properly with all of you. I'm not the kind of person who is very open on the internet, as I mostly just keep to myself and those closer to me, and I failed at making an effort to be more communicative. This post is the first step of several I intend to make to start correcting these problems.

Not too long ago, I posted here alluding to the possibility of me quitting. Honestly, quite an immature thing to do. To elaborate, I believe I have developed an unhealthy obsession with quality in my own art, which has lead many times to me being completely unable to finish any pieces, and sometimes has made me think I'm not meant to be an artist at all, making it almost impossible to pick up a pen. This turned drawing into a truly painful experience, and I began to hate drawing altogether. Eventually I even started to dread looking at other people's work since I couldn't help but compare my work to theirs. It became almost impossible to escape the spiral of negativity and self loathing over my own inadequacies and I ended in a very unhealthy state of mind. But the truth is, I don't want to quit.

Fortunately, I can now see that this is a problem for me, and I can start working on this obsession. I believe this is going to be the greatest challenge of my journey as an artist.

My goal is to start working on this page to transform it into the foundation for me to become a full time artist, which has been a dream of mine for years.

These are the goals I will be working towards:

1.- More frequent posts. I'm hoping to be able to deliver at least as little as a sketch every week, and at least 1 batch of finished art a month (ideally more but I'm not a full time artist at the moment and I'm not sure I can keep that promise). This is very different from what I'm doing right now (basically posting once every million fucking years), so I'm guessing it's gonna be quite difficult, but it should help with this obsession of mine.

2.- I will also start making posts for community suggestions for characters and polls. Should help deciding what to draw when I have no ideas in mind, too.

3.- Direction of content. You might have seen my post on twitter where I doubted if I was fit to be a NSFW artist. Quite frankly, I have my doubts sometimes, but I'm gonna keep trying as I really don't have anything against it and I think it's more financially stable. I'm also still kind of shy about it, which is something I want to get over as well. As such, my content is going to consist of lewd/suggestive illustrations, explicit sexual activities, and occasional SFW stuff. I will also be restricting all art of explicit sexual acts to this Patreon, and won't post any more of it publicly. I'm also interested in making Doujins, but that's more of an idea than a promise right now. (Writing is hard, I caught myself legitimately overthinking porn plot.)

4.- Tiers. In July of last year, I lowered the pricing of both currently available tiers, which I think was justified. I don't intend to raise the pricing for any of the currently available tiers, however I'm planning to make a third tier for extra NSFW stuff. This tier will only be made if I can actually keep up with my previous goals, and no sooner than July of this year.

5.- Quit being a little bitch on twitter.

I will do my best to meet these goals!
