Tales of the Echonomicon: No Good Deed

Echoen asked for me to try and take the situation of an otherwordly artifact finding its way into a community, exerting a deceptively corrupting effect on the population, and leave everything in a state of being too far gone for any chance of turning back. I got all that done in just over 2,000 words and I really do like how it came out.
