PHEW!
FINALLY got to finishing up the render of Eve I've been trying to tackle for the past half month. Sorry for the delay and for taking so long!
I basically had to go through 5 different iterations of this project and redo it a whole bunch, on top of the heat and other stuff I mentioned in the previous post. During that time, there has been the release of multiple models, and figuring out the quirks of each one also led to complications and hurdles I had to deal with along the way. In the end, I ended up continuing with Billy's model, since I liked the proportions of his model the most.
Been playing through the campaign during my free time and although the music in the game is great, I haven't been too overly impressed with the environments of the game. A lot of it is pretty bleak. I get that's the point, being post-apocalyptic and all, but not the hues I'm usually a fan of working with. Lots of warm colors. Rather than doing yet ANOTHER beach environment, I thought I'd have some fun and play around with the fact that she's from space to influence my color palette and environment. Hope you guys don't mind the bit of creative liberty I took with the setting!
I'll keep the archive link from June live for a lil while so that people can for sure have the time to grab this from last month, but will update when I drop the next piece. Was thinking about doing a set with Devola/Popola, or with A2 again, now that I have access to a higher-detailed mesh from the Stellar Blade rip.
