Ho-ho-hotfix!

Of course, we couldn't possibly have the perfect release, so here is a hotfix to take care of some issues! Admittedly, a couple of those are actually old issues, that somehow I didn't see before (or maybe I fixed them before and forgot to save the changes). Whatever the case, at least now they are gone.

I'll think about it. I am not sure I want to significantly alter the selling price for mana crystals, but it's something to keep in mind.

hm, yeah, i think that might be enough. you might not even need to hide any new treasure, just increase the amount you find in some already existing boxes. maybe even just raise the sale value of mana crystals?

I'll make sure the slime-girl is going to stay at home. XD As for the expenses in Caliross, I decided to just lower the pocket dimension prices for now (I don't want to upset the balance too much, since the game doesn't really have good money sinks in the later chapters). Now the rooms cost 4k to make, and getting a mirror to link Golden Leaf to the pocket dimension costs 8k, so it's a 7k reduction overall. I'll also think if I can add some other ways to earn money in non-repeatable ways (maybe hide some treasures in extra areas, and/or some mini-quests).

found another small bug, this time with the slime girl in the forrest. When you fight her and lose, her sprite steps forward into yours before the sex scene starts to play... and her position never resets. so if you keep fighting and losing, you can slowly walk her through the forest. Also her sprite has no collision.

yeah. i currently get 1k per day from Golden Leaf, and i work in Modelling, Roomkeeping and either Bar or Bunnygirl. I havnt bought the Chef or Maids yet, that would crash my income again.

I am fine with reconsidering the prices. They were all a bit arbitrary, since I didn't have a lot of time to consider the economics of Caliross. Is the 1.3k the noble income + working jobs?

i think you should lower the prices of the really expensive stuff slightly. maybe only 3k for the Summon Chambers, and 10k for the party instead of 20. I did every quest, religiously did my jobs every day and didnt spend any money at all on consumables or equipment. Yet i am now at the end of act 4, and it's still gonna take me about 20 days now to earn all the money to start the party, with an income of about 1.3k daily, cause building the pocket dimensions totally cleaned me out.

Ah, thanks for pointing out those. Sometimes it's easy to lose track, when some of the content is added much later than the rest. I made Lanessa's dialogue and Erica's early reaction more fitting. I didn't change too much (I think it should be enough), but I noticed a few other issues in that group of conversations which needed fixing. It will take me more time to comb through the "dungeon girls'" interactions. The dryad seemed mostly fine (I only had to change one thing) but I also found a scene without CGs with her... T_T If you notice more inconsistencies, please let me know.

Noticed some small continuity issues: - If you visit Lanessa in the Baths at Night after having done the Questline with Sam and Kevin, she still talks to you as if she'd never seen you. At this point you should be well aquainted with her. - The Summons still talk as if they were in their Temple-Rooms after you rehouse them

A quality tester goes into a Bar. He orders a Beer. He orders two Beers. He orders zero Beers. He orders a Lizard. He orders 999999 Beers. He orders -1 Beers... after he leaves, the first actual customer comes in. He asks where the Bathroom is, and the entire Bar instantly explodes.

yeah, i think i did. i was just exploring the school at first, entering every room, so i saw her class intro, but then just walked out again to continue exploring.

Thanks! I think I know what happened. In this save, did you enter the classroom, but then didn't take the first lesson with the professor after she introduces herself? There is a switch that flips only after the first lesson in class (so she can introduce the mechanics), but that one doesn't have an equivalent in the extra lessons. I think it makes more sense to have the professor only appear in the lounge after you take the first lesson, so that's how I'll change this (so you can't go to the extra lessons before taking at least one in class).

it wasnt just the dialogue box, the mana-points on the side didnt get shown either. And i tried every button, the only one that did anything was "esc" to call up the menu. This should use the same code as the regular lessons, so the problem should be in both. Is there any chance the dialogue box was hidden because you pressed "CTRL"? Could you try again or do you have a save you could share with me?

Thanks for letting me know. The schedule being a recent addition, it didn't have the benefit of being tested gradually over time. The fix is simple enough.

hm, i just did "extra lessons" with Professor Newell in the teachers lounge, and the puzzle didnt start correctly, locking the game. It loaded the crystal array, but not the rest of the puzzle ui. no buttons did anything, had to reset the game.

erm...so, i just did the Act 1 quest with Belthazar in the Barn. Except it was totally screwed up. i had set my "Night Job" to the Golden Cup Bar. So when i talked to the farmer in the afternoon and told him to start the quest, and it skipped to night, i got teleported to the Bar, but the Belthazaar Scene still played. i didnt see Belthazar, cause he was in the Barn and i was in the Bar, but apart from that everything played and afterwards i got teleported back to the farmer.

Generally, I prefer interactive epilogues or even to let players continue playing afterward (like with the cowgirl path, which modifies some quests or influences some interactions later on), so normally I would jump at the opportunity, but sadly the game has been in development for way too long, and I am trying to wrap things up so I can move on to my next game (TOTDC 2). Maybe if in a few years people are interested in a version 1.1, this kind of ideas might see the light of day.

Is it planned to add content for lord Kairos ending, a small "life" like the orc village. If it isn't planned I would be happy to pay for it (DM if interested so we can work out details) Found your game recently and I'm addicted to it. 10/10 keep up the good work.
