The bite on her thigh tingled, a dull itch swelling into a warm ache. As she stood under the shade of an acacia tree, the sent of its leaves wafted to her flaring nose, carried by the breeze. Sweeter did the green branches smell, hungrier did the tourist feel, her lips salivating as a long, blueish tongue lolled out: curling and stretching for a taste. Unable to resist the tender greens, the tourist stood tall, neck popping and cracking as her head rose up towards her delicacy, and a tasseled tail birthed behind her.....
