Adriano Rossi

Adriano Rossi is a successful, hotheaded 24-year-old from Lombardy, Italy. He works as a consultant with a big multinational company, chiefly in the areas of IT and marketing. Adriano is a notorious playboy who spends much of his time partying with friends. He is a well-known figure in the local nightlife and enjoys going to clubs and dinner parties.

However, Adriano also has a secret passion for food and cooking. His mother was a great cook and she taught him many recipes when he was a boy. Adriano isn't married doesn't have a steady girlfriend.

Amir Farouk

Amir is a college student from Chicago majoring in psychology and religion, hoping to obtain a doctorate in clinical psychology. His biggest passion is debating with his friends, often staying up late into the night talking about religion, politics, and popular culture. Amir has a girlfriend, Kate, who is also a psychology major.

Amir once considered himself a devout Muslim, but began to rethink his beliefs while reading the works of philosophers such as Al-Ghazali, Nietzsche, and Descartes. As a result, Amir's belief in Islam began to fade, and he became an Agnostic. Amir's father does not agree with his son's new beliefs.

Kevin Harris

Kevin Harris is an intelligent, funny, creative guy who lives with his mother in a working class neighborhood in Brooklyn. He's a high school dropout who has been working as a telemarketer for the past two years. Kevin is a big guy, standing six feet tall and weighing 340 pounds.

His weight is a source of constant anxiety. He's tried all the weight loss plans, but none seem to work for him. He believes that his weight is the main reason he hasn't been able to find a girlfriend, have a successful career, or have any meaningful friendships. Lately, Kevin has been trying to exercise regularly and eat healthier, but he's having a hard time sticking with his plan.
