I tried to watch 3 other suggested ones but I couldn't make it past their first eps. This, however, is quite exciting!

Definitely here for this. If you're looking for high budget bls their actually not that common unless their heavily invested in for example here Kinns actor was already wealthy before this & was determined to get this series going because it was originally canceled. Another series that I can think of is Jack & Joker because the two leads also invested into it one of them even sold his car to put all his worth into that production. Here some other icoinc bls that I recommend for their cinematography, storytelling, chemistry, & acting I Told Sunset About You, Moonlight Chicken, The Eight Sense, A Tale of a Thousand Stars, Love Mechanics (2022 version), Not Me theirs probably more but these are some I rank highly.

If you want a show that is spicy straight from the top, that would be Love in the Air (Thai version). Also did you say that you are reacting weekly? I want to know what day to anticipate the watch party! It's so fun to rewatch this for the first time knowing everything that's coming.

Plus two of the leads Boss and Noeul are super hot with amazzzzzing chemistry the other two leads are as well I’m just a big fan of BossNoeul lol (their new BL just ended and was verrrry good and interesting called The Boy Next World, both are also on iQIYI) maybe Manner of Death. Also DFF (Dead Friend Forever) or 4MINUTES which are both from the same company as KinnPorsche and have unique concepts.

A lot of people think it’s more distracting than the mic rubbing noise. I don’t like either one so it doesn’t matter to me. I just hear people complain about ADR so often

2025-04-05 02:08:01 +0000 UTCKinnporsche set the bar for Thai BLs and BLs in general I think. It is the example of what happens when things are done right with care and budget. Production, direction, writing, NC scenes, editing, makeup, wardrobe, acting all on point. Nothing came across as sub par and it really levelled up the quality in the Thai BL industry but I won’t say this show is perfect and that there isn’t other good shows out there. But there’s usually 2 out of 5 qualities that are good in bl shows but it’s not often that the whole package is done well with budget. Even here there is gonna be some mic issues with the rubbing sound but I really can’t hear it other than the 1 or 2 scenes in this ep so maybe cuz u got the earphones on. But just a heads up the rubbing mic issue is common as hell in Thai Bls and that’s an example of how these shows cut corners I mean they really don’t have a high budget. BOC made KinnPorsche and it’s a brand new company with KP being their first show. The actor who plays Kinn whose name is Mile comes from a rich background himself and when the show got cancelled with the previous company he took it to his friend to help produce the show. Pond is the CEO of BOC and those two really worked hard to get investors and use their connections to make this happen. They have a lot of pride in the quality of this show, they wanted to make something to the standards of Hollywood shows/movies. They got Ducati sponsored bikes and other sponsors. Another thing you might’ve noticed is there will be product placements so that inhaler stick during the boxing scene was one example. And again usually the product placements are so random or ridiculous or out of character or takes away from the plot that it gets annoying as hell. But a few shows have started incorporating the sponsored products more smoothly. The spice level will come don’t worry but there will be some dubious or straight up darker moments. The way you never saw an ass shot in previous BLs but KP upped the spice level with taste. I cannot tell u how many shows tried to include a BDSM theme after this show but it all fell flat, they just added it for the shock factor. Anyways I hope you’ll continue to release 2 eps per week in your reactions.

2025-04-04 11:44:22 +0000 UTCIf you're looking for a grand plot, there aren't many with as crazy of a theme as this one, but there are some very MESSY bls, as in a lot of relationship mess and drama going on. If you're feeling that vibe later on, I can recommend some! As for shows with not a typical realistic plot, there's love for love's sake which is like inside a video game theme, but it is much calmer than this show lol. Another one is Triage, which is set in the medical field and its about being stuck in a time loop and having to travel back in time to solve a problem, if you're ever interested in that.

2025-04-04 11:31:44 +0000 UTCsecret realitionship, and mostly love in the big city and semantic error are one of the best bls tbh. but theyre mainly about the romance and normal life lol. this is a action/mafia show, with romance, so i get it. i love kinnporsche as well. many bls are mostly focused on the romance and that is the main plot. some exist, but not many have a crazy plot, its mainly about the romance lol

It’s mostly just violence, drugs etc (like normal mafia themes) but… There’s also some darker and more controversial stuff like sexual assault/abuse (kind of teetering on bdsm but explicitly done in an unhealthy way that will make sense when you get to it), mental health and suicide mention, torture…

2025-04-04 08:24:14 +0000 UTCone of the reasons kinnporsche was so anticipated and loved is because it offers a grandness and budget bl usually isn't known for, to be honest I can't think of any other bl that can offer you that, at least of the top of my head. There's other bls with very interesting crime plots like history 3 trapped, manner of death etc, but they're often not as action packed/you can tell they can't afford to do the action as well. When it comes to creating large reactions, you can get those usually through bls that are very sexual, like only friends, bed friends, and tons more, but in my personal opinion those dramas often rely on getting an audience due to the rated scenes and are a let down in the writing. I don't want to be too negative but just so you have a realistic expectation of what bl can offer you haha, the Genre still has a long way to go but luckily with larger audiences there's more money involved and hopefully better productions in the future! However, when it comes to cinematography there's some truly great ones out there like I told sunset about you, GELBOYS and the eighth sense.
