Universe League EP 7 Reaction

How do we feel about these Elite 7's??

Universe League EP 7 Reaction

Comments

all teams have the same team of choreographers (or atleast the head choreographer) all through out the show... for Team Rhythm it's Auspicious' Jeon Gihoon (blond guy)

ELFCTzen

I don't know why but Rhythm resonates to me more. Their dynamics as a team always felt so good to me. I can see it really well with their performances. Anyways, so excited for the next ep!

Zhel

Xie Yuxin is a really good dancer. He's the one who got Rhythm win in the Random Play Dance. I do think he's one of the top dancers in UL. Too bad he didn't got decent screen time.

Zhel

oh was waiting for dance practice. apparently it’s dropped now!

seth james

pretty solid team

seth james

will need proof LOL

seth james

ohhh damn thanks for that! i was way offf

seth james

plot twist 👀👀

seth james

oh yes it’s here. i did forget to add it to the Collection list but it’s there now ☺️

seth james

Did i miss an episode or did you not react to ep 6?

Pratiksha Majee

I'm so excited for you to see the next episode! The way I'm holding myself back not to give any spoilers haha. I love the plot twist

Deiseree

Sorry to say this on a different post, but I would love to see you react to Close Your Eyes debut album! They just debut today, and they are the group that came out of the survival show Project 7. I'm not sure how much demand there would be for this group, but their music sounds like it would be right up your alley (very pretty vocals). Even if you don't react to them, you should totally check them out! Also love your Universe league reactions :)

His name is like the hardest name to find an english equivalence of sound tell someone how to pronounce it. Like I know how he says it in Mandarin but I can't put together in english text. Pretty sure even Ten and Yangyang missprounced his name the first few episodes. For Anyone curious of the Mandarin pronunciation, he says it in this behind the scenes (ULB Ep 5) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DrHGF4KJXNo&ab_channel=UniverseLeague around the 5:11 mark.

Yeah I think as a leader Steven acts like a coordinator where he's constantly watching and listens to the group, then directs attention to where its needed and who to lead. Like when its time to learn choreo, he has JL and Juwon (when he was in Rhythm) take the reigns. Whatever Steven did to run Team Rhythm seems to work because I think they had the best teamwork of the 3 teams and at least from what's shown, their practices seem to run pretty smoothly.

To pronoune Chih En's name correctly, just remember 'chew on' 😁

nhuelie

It's funny how many think Chih En is an introvert even in other reaction videos but he is actually an extrovert, at least according to his MBTI.

Nani

Team Groove is definitely still my favorite although Kairi has been catching my eye from the beginning too. If I could form my own team it would be: Kyung Ho, He Jun, Jeong Woo, Kenta, Ju Won, Park Han, Kairi, JL, and Steven.

Tiana

kairi was on team beat from the start, he performed hard carry and mamma mia.

beige

There are full cam versions of their performances on youtube if you wanna check out the choreo and formation

Lily

On the topic of survival shows and I-land 2 since you mentioned that. are you reacting to IZNA's sign that just dropped? Curious on your thoughts on it.

Christine Copeland aka Christine's Culinary Quest

Han never disappoints ❣ So much talent I'm left speechless everytime 🤍✨

Sabi

Steven is the leader, he's just the more supportive kind of leader who listens to his group and their ideas and lets them take the lead in areas they excel. A lot of the contestants have talked about how he supported them behind the scenes :) I highly recommend watching the moving cams of this rounds performances. The camerawork for them is kind of trash in the Live performances. You get a much better idea of the choreo from the moving cams.

CallistoWarriorQueen

I love Groove team so much, they give me so much joy and everyone is so memorable 💚

So happy when I saw my notification it's you reaction for ep7.. Let's go❤️

Jennet Macario

Im so happy you noticed Xie Yuxin (the guy from team rhythm), I think he is one of the best dancers in UL, good vocals too. Sadly he didnt get much highlight. If you remember team rhythm winning the random play dance in ep 6, he is the guy that made them win.

33:00 i think this comes back to Kpop groups being more dance/performance focused these past few years? Like, it seems like companies are putting more effort in to teaching dance and not as much on vocals so you end up with groups where like the main vocals are the ones with proper technique but the others may not. Though it does seem to be shifting focus again to singing since more and more fans and survival shows seem to bring up in the past few years. This was the episode where I felt like Shuaibo has really grown since Boys Planet and actually wants to stay in competition and debut. Based on how Mnet portrayed him, I feel like he would've just tried to coast through this round and hope the online votes would carry him to the next round. But instead, it looks like him initally being left off both performance line ups actually motivated him to practice and fight for a spot to perform. I do feel like as viewers of Kpop, we do overlook how much hand mics can change a performance. Like we see groups who would seemlessly perform with in ear mics and with hand mics and it looks like all they have to do is hold a mic vs not hold one. We don't think about how they probably had to practice the choreography with and without the mic because they have to be mindful of which hand the mic should be in at what point in order to have a cohesive performance as a group. So I'm kinda glad they threw in that "storyline" for Juwon because it help put that aspect in to perspective. Daisuke, I love that kid. He's born to be a performer. I remember having to fight people in tiktok comments because they'd brush him off as being "too young" and while I do feel like a 15 year old is young to be thrown on a survival show and fighting for debut. I think Daisuke has proven that he can keep up with the rest of the guys and has shown throughout the show to be able to hold his own on stage. I remember around this time of the show, my thought was, he wasn't in my top 7 but I wouldn't be mad if he debuted. For Chih En, its funny because his MBTI is ENTJ but he doesn't seem extroverted at all. 2:09:13 as someone who loves Team Rhythm, this was one thing that bothered me so much throughout the show, they kept focusing on the same 5 guys when they had many great performers on the team. The guy you pointed out is Xie Yuxin, he was the guy that one the Random Play Dance last episode.

Secretninja312 (Tina)

If you want to see the full cam version of the performances, they’re all available on YouTube (tho I think the full cam version is during rehearsal only). But, Just be careful cuz you might get accidentally spoiled 🙈. Also just random info lol, after this episode, the YT channel of UL posted ALL of the next performances before the actual Ep8’s broadcast. We were all confused but I guess it was so that ppl can finalize who they’re voting for? Or maybe because the ppl who watched onsite posted clips of the performances and the ppl waiting online put them together basically completing the whole song anyway lol 😅.

Louie Gabiliño

Park Han main vocalist of this show no doubt 💯 AND he's also a great dancer! Hope they can show more of his dancing skills too on the show. Such an all rounder! Park Han, Juwon, and JL are still my top picks. ❤️
