Her real name is Haram and she is casually called Haram-ie by friends the way Koreans called their close friends name with -ie or -ah at the end. -ie mostly used for females, -ah for males. YG took the last 2 syllables of her nickname to Rami from Haram-ie

2025-03-06 13:16:43 +0000 UTCthey never officaly gave a specific reasons for the name change but fans speculated that due to the islam meaning and also there is another haram in the kpop world and at that time when searching the names, the other idol name would come up more which sometimes became confusing espcially since they were recently new at that time Also yeah it surpsased the 1 million in 3 week she predicted, cant remeber by how much tho, i just remeber montiez celbrating about it an me going to check and was impressed it did.

With so many of her covers, the hardest parts of the songs are her own arrangements like her solo in Last Evaluation or both of her covers here. And she also adds some interesting melodies for her parts in BM songs, especially for encore stages (her sheesh encore went viral for that). Asa mentioned that they sometimes produce for fun together, and Rami is in charge of melodies.

And I guess searching haram would be confusing for the fans and maybe she didn't want that. Like for the longest time searching RosΓ© all you got is roses or the wine pictures and information about them (it has gotten better now since she's a world star). I'm guessing she didn't want the confusion.
