From what I know and based from the historical dramas that I've watched before, during those times the Emperor was in a higher position than the King of Joseon (Korea) and they're a bigger country too. They wanted to be in the good side of the Emperor so that's why they're being very careful of the Envoys sent to them. Somehow it's like how you treat the envoys will reflect on how much you value the relationship between the two countries. Disrespecting them was like disrespecting the other country too and somehow the Emperor as well. 🙂 I'M SO LATEEEE! HAHA I really enjoyed your reaction. Thank you as always! ☺️
