Imagine the steampunk version of this. That's what I had in mind for the adventure theme and some of the Raven variations. Don't worry, it's less cheesy than the Power Rangers. It's very usable for many sorts of steampunk automatons, even for a Wild Wild West steampunk spider robot (see below). I included a variation in which there's a city.
