I'll have to check out a trailer to see if I'm interested or not, I do have to say I'm sad to see Imitation cancelled but I understand what you said about not being in the mood for heavy topics all the time. Maybe I'm more used to it because I've watched It's Okay to Not Be Okay (a super emotionally heavy drama), but I really appreciated the first episode tackling these topics. If you ever need a different drama to check out in the future, I've recommended it before but Moment at Eighteen is really good. It does have a few heavy topics but overall it's much lighter, more similar to Gangnam Beauty. The male lead is played by Ong Seongwu, who is in Produce 101 S2, and his acting is really phenomenal in this show. Moonbin also plays a side character in it and he did really well with his role!

I recommend watching Moonbin and Hwiyoung's web drama together, Mermaid Prince: The Beginning! It's a sequel series, but you honestly don't need the original to understand it. It's all available on YouTube on the Lifetime (라이프타임 in Hangeul, I think) channel. The plot's fine, but it's really cute and I think you'd like it, haha

i also think Imitation should be commended for taking on more serious topics like mental health , for so long this subject has been shunned in Korea , so for a major drama to be addressing such things is a major breakthrough in my opinion , the more it's brought out into the open the more people won't hide in secret and suffer , so i'm sorry patreons won't be able to view it here but i would urge everyone to view it elsewhere , if dramas like this open up the conversation it should be applauded

I agree! Extraordinary you is also really nice but i think She Would Never Know is a bit more interesting... also Rowoon's acting improved a lot so I think he might enjoy it a bit more! But yeah extraordinary you is also really cute and lighthearted!!

Yeah it's good but I haven't finished this drama yet actually. But this was kind of melodrama too tho. Not too much but yeah. Still, I would look forward to your reaction on this. ☺️ (actually any drama that you would choose to react, I wouldn't mind. I trust you. HAHA) If I could suggest a drama to you also, THE LIAR AND HIS LOVER would be nice too. This is a light drama (fluffy romance with some drama ofc) and the story focuses on music and was about Idols/artists in music industry also. The lead actress here is JOY of Red Velvet. SONG KANG was here too in supporting role. ❤
