Patreon Changes (Rewards Change Coming in January)!

Hello everyone,

There are a couple of changes coming to this Patreon page, and this post aims to clarify why.

First Change:
Removal of the Pinned Post about Money Goals.

Reason: I'm currently working on this project far more than the goals aim for. Therefore, they no longer make sense. I've also removed the visibility of the earnings for this reason. The project will continue no matter what; the money just determines the speed of updates.

Second Change:
New Patreon Rewards as follows:

• Public: Access to the older version
• Monkey Tip Jar 1$: Stays the same (Support only)
• Small Banana 3$: Access to the newest version with a delay of 2 weeks (~2 weeks before public)
• Average Banana 5$: Access to the newest version upon release
• Big Banana 10$: Lower-tier rewards + Choice of a different starting deck (currently: Default, Poison, Aggressive, Defensive)
• Huge Banana 20$: Lower-tier rewards + Choice to draft a deck from all Stage 1 cards (10x choice of 3 cards to choose 1)
• Gigantic Banana: Unchanged

Reason: I think the main thing most of you wonder is why I moved the newest version from 3$ to 5$. The reason starts at the beginning of the project. The game was barely playable and had very little content. This is why I didn't want to have too high a cost on this reward. I also believed that I could increase the cost of a tier with time (and with more content in the game). Apparently, this is not possible, and this is why I moved it to the next tier instead. I still think that 5$ is lower than most NSFW game Patreons (that I checked out) and is barely a cup of coffee in my country, which hopefully is still bearable for your support. If not, I still hope you are not angry at me for this change and still support me with the 2 weeks delay or as a player of the free version.

Regarding the other rewards: There was a damn time for me to add some rewards for higher tiers. I always felt bad if someone subscribed to a higher tier and didn't get anything for it. If you were hoping for those rewards in lower or free tiers, fear not. At one point, they will be accessible for everyone, but only after I add new great rewards for my high-tier supporters!

The changes to the delay for Small Banana supporters will be live after 2 updates (This means the next 2 updates will still be as usual). The changes for Big and Huge Banana will be live with the next update! Please go over to the Membership tab to check if the current tier will still be good enough for your needs! You will see when the game will be released for Average Banana supporters or higher, and you can still upgrade at that point, so no fear of missing out if you wait. I hope you understand that this won't be the last change on this Patreon, but I will always try to announce changes as soon as possible and clarify as good as possible.
