Doctor Val Grigori

Doctor Val Grigori is a name well-known within the medical circuits on any plane. She is known to be a secretive surgeon that appears on foggy nights when the moon stands high in the sky. 

She is always accompanied by her assistant wherever she goes. What sets the two of them aside however is that they are clearly not human. Doctor Val is in fact, an Innistradi homunculi, and her assistant is an ooze contained in a humanoid suit. 

While some might think that this story would be about how she's a dangerous and corrupt surgeon, it is quite the opposite. 

Doctor Val is in fact one of the greatest surgeons that ever walked upon any plane. She travels to where she is needed and help those she can. People are taken back by her appearance, but she quickly manage to win them over with her kindness and willingness to offer help. When asked of who she was, she only replies with that she was created many years ago, with such medical precision that the multiverse seem to have been tricked into granting her the ability to hold a spark. 

The first couple of years she studied under the Grigori family and became well verse in the ancient knowledge and expertise that family held within the medical field. She quickly found herself able to read books within minutes and memorise them instantly. 

Over the years of her traveling across the multiverse she stored more and more knowledge and eventually were able to host secretive lectures where she brings knowledge from plane to plane. 

Some say her body contained body parts of the legendary Saint Rosa of the West Abbey., but Doctor Val has rejected the idea, stating that Saint Rosa was an inspiration to her as she read the medical journals but nothing more than that. 

She also empathise that Saint Rosa was a herbal healer, while Doctor Val is a sugeon.
