We have pretty strict laws over here about TV game show prizes so legally they have to give the prizes to the winner, but that's on the assumption that they will give them straight back to the loser. Romesh tells a story about this episode and asking Josh for the ring back only to be told that he was "perfectly entitled to keep it." Also later in this series you might remember that Frank wins a blank cheque from Josh, which he claims he then cashed for £19,000 before immediately giving the money back to Josh. Of course, all this could be part of the act...
