Update 1.2.0 is out!

This update not only fixes up areas of the mod in its present state, but also adds some new artwork 👀

Puffkin Xenofauna

These large, flightless, bird-like aliens are quite docile. Puffkins can grow up to three and a half feet in height and use their hooked beaks to dig up roots and hunt for small prey.

They roam the wilds near the colony in small flocks carrying their young within their thick, almost fur-like feathers. Those dense feathers help protect them from predators—of which they have quite a lot. It seems that to humans and aliens alike, their eggs and meat are rather tasty.

Seramoth Xenofauna

Seramoth lies under the same “Xenomoth” Genus as the Dorbsmoth (Xenomoth Amicus). Contrasting with the Dorbsmoth, Seramoth are smaller, white-furred, and lack whiskers. They also have some feathers and a different wing location. It has four life stages—egg, larvae, cocoon, and adult. Unlike other oviparous creatures, Seramoth appear to be conscious in their egg and cocoon stages. Because of this it is advised to be careful distinguishing between them and other xeno eggs.

Resilience (They/Them)

Often seen lurking in places they really shouldn't be, it's Reese! With the mindset of "anything is an ingredient until it sends someone to medbay", Reese is ready to explore the world for culinary possibilities! By exploring, they obviously mean sleeping through their classes and hanging around the tasty barn animals.

Anisocoria and Intimacy (both He/Him)

Calli's fathers are the true lovebirds of the Colony, much to her embarassment. Cori works the fields while Tim researches the Xenofauna, but you'll often catch them visiting each other- even when they probably shouldn't be. The two help each other overcome their inner issues while raising their child the best they can.

Mitochondrion (He/Him)

Auntie Seedent isn't the only big name in the creche. The professional chef and ultimate "get-out-of-jail-free card" Tio Drio is there, too! Clairvoyance (She/Her)

Family comes first. This is Clair's motto. After narrowly making it onto the Stratospheric because of her mother Eudicot's influence and an outsiders help, Clair doesn't take anything for granted. Despite her serious nature, she's still often spotted doing miscellaneous tasks, enjoying her time on Vertumna. Whether that's drinking a newly concocted drink by her husband Drio, or playing with her son Peri when he has no one else at that moment. One thing is for certain with Clair: she isn't let...

Andromeda (She/Her)

Since as long as she could remember, science is an endless cycle of experiments and finding new information. Never in her life, has she ever believed that science needs limitations. Even when she lost the most important thing to her, that never stopped her from continuing her research. In fact, it only spurred her further. Some may see her views as extreme, but she only wants humanity to prevail. And she'll never let her vulnerability control her again.

Anemone's Brothers

Throughout her events, you learn that Kom isn't Anemone's only brother (just her favorite 😉). So with Kom becoming a main character, you'll be seeing more of these little troublemakers as well. Meet:

Stratus, the self-appointed "mature" sibling. Sometimes he feels like Cirrus doesn't take anything seriously, and they find themselves butting heads quite a bit.

Imperative (He/They)

Lost your prized possession? Want to know what someone thinks of you? Detective Imperative is on the case! Despite being the grandchild of Eudicot, Peri is anything but shrewd. More often than not, they're off trying to find the next big mystery to solve. Now that they're finally planet-side, there's no stopping what Peri will find! Peri plans on figuring out everything the future has to offer. It's up to you whether you want to be his sidekick or not.
