I enjoy this!! I do like the sketchy, soft feel to the characters. Because the characters are less detailed, it draws more attention to their facial expressions, which is nice! I also like the somewhat watercoloresqe vibe! It seems more fitting for a storybook, almost like Delilah painted it! I think the backgrounds are beautiful too, they capture the nature and vibrance from the original style while being more simplistic. The only thing I would say is to include more dramatic shading and highlights to the characters. Iโm not going to lie when I say I could barely find Steban and Fayeโs shadow! ๐ I think it will really make your characters pop from the background, and add more dynamic to the comic page! Other than that tho, well done!

The old, more detailed look is awesome too but sometimes all the detail while beautiful, can distract you. I know my brain will get used to changing of the style and I hope others will too

But then again it feels incomplete if you leave the old style mixed with new style unless you mixed them together. Some detailed and others where the background isn't as important make it simpler. ((Basically I agree with Streetfair))

I do love the orginal detailed style of course, but I imagine that style can be applied for really intense or important scenes, posters, merch etc. Like how many manga's do it, for example. If a more simplified style means we get to see more character interactions, I will even take it uncoloured and scribbly too haha. It's tough to judge from just one page, but this does look and feel very nice and if it's less labour intensive, then that's a bonus. If I have to pick one thing that I'd be crossing my fingers for to be carried over from the original style, it is the awesome dramatic lighting and clear values๐คฉ๐ Very nice work and it's a lot of work I'm sure, whatever style it may be, just know it's very appreciated.
