Ready for some more No North?? (actually we're literally almost at the end of Book 1 ๐ญ)
Then little old Skailla is going to take some time to test out a LOT of things before she gets to book 2. But don't worry, I'll keep you guys constantly updated and filled with concept art and other crazy things!
But for now, the focus of the matter is on these two scary boys! Vernon is not taking the news too well.

The whole illumination and how he postures himself, gives him a villianous intro. It is remarkable of how Hank keeps his composure in the face of Vernon's rage. The glowing salivia gives further detail into his appearance.

I wonder why Vernon is the only one who has the venom ๐ค I wonder if there's some some sort of initiation process the other Scorpions would have to go through to get this kind of venom, or maybe Vernon really is the only one who's able to have it. It's definitely very interesting! Even poor Hank seems nervous around Vernon! ๐ญ Wonderful work on this page, Skailla! You did such a great job making this creepy environment, and an amazing job making Vernon look like the intimidating character that he is ๐ฌ Amazing job! ๐ฅ๐

I would surely be fearful if I had to report the news about losing the compass. Wonder how Adder and Rat are not nervous about the situation. Viper seems trying to remain calm there I think I would try to do the same lol. Looks like the venom in teeth is real or does Vernon is the only one that has this trait?

Eshter looks just a little scared (like she knows they messed up bad) Viper looks like he's trying to calm down like he's really nervous. I forgot the other two names but they very much seem angry at the situation... Hank looks pretty much what second in commamd would look. He seems to be least nervous facing Vernon...
