Steban is getting quite the memory rush. There are so many things he tried to burry deep, but there's no escaping them now.
Phew, this one was CRAZY TO MAKE! It took me longer than it should have because making the composition work was a challenge on its own! But It was also quite an epic journey.
I just can't wait to hear your thoughts on this one! You guys are AWESOME!

2024-07-14 16:40:54 +0000 UTCOkay, now THIS is a super cool looking page!! The way you depict Steban's flashback here is so neat! And this reveals a tidbit of new info too! This was not how I was expecting Old Joe to make his first appearance in the story, but it definitely raises some questions! So Steban knew Old Joe when he was part of the original Enders, huh? π€ There has been some very interesting threorizing about this going on over on Discord! π Someone guessed that Old Joe - being the mysterious old Ghost of the Woods that he is - was the target of a witch hunt by the Enders after being wrongfully associated with the curse, but Steban knew better and tried to stop it, and this led to him having to flee Oddwind after running afoul of Baltazar. This takes me back to that "Confrontation" artwork from No Northvember you did a couple of years ago π€ I guess we'll see if this theory holds any water.... Also, whatever happened to Faye's cousin Medora? Fascinating page Skailla! π This is just one tiny piece of the puzzle, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how the rest of them start to fall into place!
