HOWDY?
I bring you another part of our Q&A! It's the nostalgia time <3
(Sorry I'm taking a while to make these! I've recorded a lot of footage and kind of made a big mess while editing everything. That's why we're back to the old format. We'll go back and forth with this for a while)
This time I'm answering Miss. Isaacs, SilverTwistVI and BurningWolfPromise's questions!
Thank you guys so so much for your amazing support and for your questions!
I would absolutely LOOOVE to hear your thoughts on this!

Awesome video Skailla! It's always very cool to take a look back at the older stuff that helped to develop you into the amazing artist and storyteller you are today! The bit about Dikon and Amy and Beyond the Woods was especially fascinating; I never would've guessed they went back so far! It's so cool to see their humble beginnings, and how they never left you after so long, and just lingered in the back of your mind for years until you finally decided to share their story! I really adore Beyond the Woods. That story was so beautifully told, both in the book and the animatic. And I've always been especially impressed by how you managed to communicate everything so well without any dialogue! The first time I watched the animatic, I remember being very moved by it. It's a touching story, and it was just so masterfully done. And the music really set the tone and fit the images so well! π This video helps give me a sense of how vivid that story became in your mind, so it's easy to see now why it all fit together so perfectly! It's always very interesting as well to hear you talk about how so much of your work has been influenced by your life experiences. The way you describe this helps to give me a sense of how deeply your art and stories reflect your life and who you are as a person, and I think that's a very beautiful and profound thing π Thanks for another fascinating Q&A video, I'm looking forward to the next one!
